The National Board of Revenue (NBR) is the central authority for tax administration in Bangladesh. It is under the Internal Resource Division of Ministry of Finance. NBR is the authority for tax policies and tax laws in Bangladesh.
NBR collects almost 97% of tax revenue and almost 85% of total revenue for the Government of Bangladesh.
দেশের প্রশাসনিক কাজকর্ম পরিচালনার জন্য যে বাজেট গৃহীত হয় তাকে রাজস্ব বাজেট বলে।
রাজস্ব বাজেটে সরকারের রাজস্ব আয় এবং প্রশাসনিক ব্যয় দেখানো হয়।
এ বাজেটের দুটি অংশ থাকে- আয়ের উৎস ও ব্যয়ের খাত। আয়ের অংশে সরকারের সম্ভাব্য মোট আয় উল্লেখ করা হয় এবং কোন কোন উৎস থেকে এ আয় আসবে তাও বর্ণনা করা হয়। একইভাবে ব্যয়ের খাতে সরকারের সম্ভাব্য ব্যয়ের পরিমাণ এবং কোন কোন খাতে ব্যয় করা হবে তার উল্লেখ থাকে।
